It has never been more important to discuss our industry’s reaction to contagious disease, and how our lessons from past incidents informed our responses. What net-new lessons have we learned from the crisis and how can our industry be even more prepared for next time?

Meeting Design: Post-Coronavirus

Following every crisis, we find ourselves more resilient, more agile and better able to help our organizations find sustainable growth in our case through meetings and events. Out of this crisis, the design of meetings will necessarily change. We will see new business opportunities, most noticeably in the virtual space, but IRL spaces as well. Physical distancing will relax to a degree with resolution of the current crisis, but safety, hygiene and some distancing standards will remain.

Discover how health, safety and travel guidelines impact experience design, diversity and inclusion, and the role science plays in creating meaningful and safe experiences. Sessions will be offered for the following:

  • Health Guidelines (Venue, Audiovisual, Airlines)
  • Safety (F&B, Setup, Signage, Cleaning Standards)
  • Virtual Events & Hybrid Events (Strategy, Resources, Platforms, Engagement, Pricing, Sponsorship, Show Flows, Speaker Management, Inclusivity)
  • Diversity & Inclusion as it relates to meeting design
  • Science of Meetings
